 
KETTLE HAT HELMET SALLET Medieval Armor Knight. This full-size KETTLE HAT Soldiers Sallet Helmet. Popular helmet similar to the one illustrated in the Maciejowski Bible, and was commonly worn by foot-soldiers and mounted sergeants. The wide brim offered excellent protection to the head, while allowing full visibility, which was restricted with enclosing great helms. This reproduction is hand made from 18 gauge steel, favoured by archers and foot soldiers as allows total vision with a wide brim and brass riveted all over; 26 inch internal circumference it is 12" at its widest with an 8" internal diameter and 4" tall, the rim is 1 3/4"wide; favoured by archers and foot soldiers as it gives total vision. It will make a perfect show piece for any history or military buff inner circumference of 28" makes the helmet wearable. |
